Startup Incubators in Chapel Hill: 1789 and LAUNCH

Recently we've been involved in the local business development for startups in Chapel Hill. So-called "business incubators" LAUNCH and 1789 took off in Jan and May, 2013. These facilities for UNC students are inspired and driven by Jim Kitchen and Taylor Smith. Who knows, maybe 10 years from now, a new Mark Zuckerberg would be giving interviews about the launch-pad on Franklin Street from which it all began.

Allora Consulting to host booth at AENC Technology Conference

Allora Consulting will host a booth at the up coming AENC Technology Conference in Raleigh NC. This conference, put on by Association Executives of North Carolina, will be held April 20, 2012 and you can read more about it here. Allora will be one of 7 exhibitors at this event and this is a great opportunity for us to show how important a secure network and IT system is for companies.

Allora was privileged to exhibit at the Association of Executives of North Carolina (AENC) on April 21st. Not only were we 1 of 7 exhibitors, we also had the good fortune to attend the workshops offered. We hope that the attendee's were just as pleased with the presentations. We learned several tools that we can use to help with our client communication and functionality of our own Social Media outreach.
